STREAM: KINGCITY HIPHOP SESSIONS Volume 2, May Edition.
KINGCITY HIP-HOP SESSIONS is a platform created by Bulawayo hip-hop practitioners for hip-hop lovers and the primary goal is to bridge the gap between artists and the audience while spreading the city's rap tunes far and wide .Hip-hop gets limited air time and too much censorship on main stream media hence the need to create a platform where creatives will fully express themselves and share their music all over. Due to the covid pandemic distribution is currently limited to online stores but the plan is to spread music on the streets there's more people out there than online platforms and people always complain about local music not being easily accessible for the public. The first edition was released under the banner KINGSVILLE HIP-HOP SESSIONS before rebranding to KINGCITY HIPHOPSESSIONS. VOLUME1 was released on the 24th of April and it featured bangers from ASAPH who has been on number one for over 5weeks on the Zifm top 40, SYKOTEK who is currently flying the national flag in the cape undergroundhiphop circuit in Capetown South Africa, THE DOT & CRISS SWISS who also hit number one on ZiFm top 40 and are currently sitting on number 2,NGU DONNI, ROCKIE DOUB, ORTHODOX SIX, PROZAC and the Nomasonto hit makers KILLEMOL among others on the 13 track project . KINGCITY HIP-HOP SESSIONS VOLUME 2 dropped on the 28th of May and it features K_TOX,C.T.L,THA CYPHA, LAMAS ELLZ, CAL_VIN, TAMUKA(UK BASED),THE SHOE MAKER, DREYSON ORIKANTI, and the return of BRETT RAMMZ, THABBZ, MTERRY THE RAPPER.
